On the Herefordshire/Shropshire border, in the village of Wigmore, we are just a few miles from the historic town of Ludlow.
We have just one generous double room with king sized bed, so we can afford to make your stay extra special. Rate is £105 per night (double occupancy B and B), £85 for single occupancy.
We serve you breakfast in your room. And to complete the treat, why not let Janet prepare an evening meal for you, delivered to your table for a private dining experience. What we want is for you to enjoy the same things we would like when we go away - a pint of milk in your fridge, space inside and out for relaxing, and a separate entrance to come and go by.
With access from its own south facing terrace, the bedroom is characterised by space, light, peace and views across the nearby rooftops and wooded valley. As well as a king sized bed, there is a sitting area with log-burning stove, an en-suite shower room and a kitchen. A television is provided, as is a Roberts CD/radio, and wireless broadband is also available.
Abbots Lodge is located in a delightfully peaceful setting between the church and the medieval castle.
A short, beautiful and picturesque drive to the east through Mortimer Forest brings you to the historic town of Ludlow, renowned for its food and arts festivals as well as its fine dining, and high quality local food suppliers.
